Client Data & Analytics Manager

Full-time/Hybrid

Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Client Data & Analytics Manager to serve as a key liaison between our data, reporting, and client service functions. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and interpreting reports; responding to client inquiries; training internal and external stakeholders on data and metrics; and proactively troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate is a client-oriented self-starter who works independently, solves problems quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and enhance data sets, dashboards, and recurring reports to support client and internal business needs.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions related to data, metrics, and reporting.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Train team members and clients on data tools, reports, and key performance metrics.

  • Proactively identify data issues, inconsistencies, or gaps and resolve them with strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

  • Quickly problem-solve and adapt to urgent client requests or changing business needs.

  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, analytics, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and client satisfaction.

  • Continuously improve reporting processes, documentation, and best practices.

  • Operate effectively as an independent contributor, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion with minimal supervision.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5-10 years experience working with data, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.

  • Proven client-facing experience with a strong service-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train others.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and solve problems independently.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.

  • Must be located in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metropolitan area.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or for Target Corporation (retail, CPG, or vendor-side experience strongly preferred).

  • Experience supporting sales, retail, or CPG analytics.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency
